Seneca City Administrator Discusses Partnership With Clemson University That Made Alley To The Valley Possible

(Seneca, SC)——-In less than three weeks, the city of Seneca will begin the Alley to the Valley, in which Clemson fans will be able to drive to downtown Seneca, park and tailgate and take advantage of the amenities downtown and then get transportation to and from the seven Clemson home games this season.

Clemson University officials gave their blessings to the initiative recently after meetings and conversations with officials from the city of Seneca.

Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder talked about the conversations that were held and the relationship between Clemson University and the city of Seneca that made Alley to the Valley possible as he appeared on the Coffee Time program this week.

Moulder said that the university had some concerns initially in regards to traffic, however, the university was receptive and after some conversations, the university was excited about the benefits the initiative could offer them as well.

It appears, according to Moulder, that the city will have to join IPTAY but Moulder feels that this will show that both sides are committed to the partnership.

Moulder says that both the city of Seneca and the university will learn a lot in the first year and he anticipates that there may be some problems with it being the first year, however, Moulder believes that the second year will run much smoother.
