Seneca City Council Holds Regular Monthly Council Meeting; Approves Several Recommendations
(Seneca, SC)———-Seneca City Council held their regularly scheduled monthly council meeting yesterday evening and during the meeting, Council approved recommendations for a law enforcement service contract between the Seneca Police Department and the Clemson University Police Department as well as a mutual aid agreement between CUPD and Seneca PD as well as a mutual aid contract between the Seneca Police Department and the Walhalla Police Department.
Council also approved a 5 year lease agreement at a cost of $300,000 for the purchase of a new garbage truck and also approved a 4 year lease agreement at $12,500 a year for a reel mower for the Seneca Recreation Department.
Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder also provided council and those in attendance with an update on a proposed Short Term Lease ordinance that may be ready at the next council meeting for a 2nd reading.
