Seneca City Council Votes Unanimously To Sell Vacuum Truck To The City Of Westminster

(Seneca, SC)—At Tuesday night’s Seneca City Council meeting, Council approved by an unanimous vote the sale of a Vacuum Truck to the city of Westminster in the amount of $35,000.

Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder said Tuesday night that the city had an older model vacuum truck that was expiring and that money was in the budget to buy a new one, with the city using the old truck as a trade in on a new one with a $35,000 credit.

Moulder said that a representative from Westminster contacted the city of Seneca about the vacuum truck since the city of Westminster does not have one and they were interested in buying one.

The representative from Westminster asked the city of Seneca if the city would be willing to sell the used truck that was going to be traded in exchange for the same value that Seneca would have gotten in the trade in.
