Seneca close to establishing Business Incentives

Tonight, July 10, the Seneca City Council is scheduled to vote on economic incentives for new businesses and property owners willing to share the costs of facade work. According to the agenda, the council will consider a recommendation to approve amended ordinances that will offer 15% of the costs of facade improvements up to a maximum of $5,000 in matching funds. The city anticipates starting the program on Aug. 1, which will give staff at City Hall time to train for accepting applications from those interested in the business community.
