Seneca Facilities Corporation Announces Borg Warner Lease Agreement For The Seneca Rail Park

(Seneca, SC)———-On Wednesday morning, the Seneca Facilities Corporation met in the Conference Room at Seneca City Hall and during the meeting, the announcement was made that Borg Warner has approved a lease agreement for space in the Seneca Rail Park on Shiloh Road. The lease agreement is for 10 years, and with the lease agreement officially in place sometime next week, it means that the Seneca Rail Park will have 100% occupancy in the building.

Moulder said that with the growth and expansion Borg Warner, the company needs additional space and discussion of the lease agreement has been going on for the past nine months to a year. Moulder said the city has come in to renovate the remaining space and Borg Warner will occupy the remaining space in the facility with Johnson Controls and the maintenance facilities for the CATbus system there as well.

Moulder says that the next goal is to clean out the office space in the facility and create an office incubator space for businesses after some renovations.
