Seneca FFA receives Gold National Chapter Award

The Seneca FFA Chapter was awarded a gold ranking in the 2013 National Chapter Award program.  This is an overall measure of how well an FFA chapter is doing and is considered to be one of the top awards in the National FFA Organization.   It is based on the chapter creating and implementing a yearly program of activities with a focus on three critical areas: student development, chapter development, and community development.  Seneca was one of only nine programs in the state of South Carolina to receive the coveted gold ranking.  The gold programs are ranked and the top three FFA chapters in the state will be announced at the SC State FFA Convention in June at Clemson University.  Being ranked gold on the state level also allows Seneca to compete at the national level this coming October in Louisville, Kentucky at the National FFA Convention for a chance to be named 3 star gold and even possibly one of the top FFA chapters in the country.
