Seneca Holding Public Hearing Tonight for Upcoming Fiscal Year’s Budget

The City of Seneca will be holding a public hearing at 6:00 pm tonight at City Hall so that residents can make comments or ask questions about the city’s upcoming budget for the next fiscal year. The mayor and council are expected to give final approval of the budget following the public hearing. The budgets will go into effect Wednesday, July 1st. Property Taxes are not recommended to increase, however the new utilities budget includes a small increase for customers of water services provided by the city, for both in and out of town residents.
