Seneca hosting 10U Dixie Baseball Tournament this Weekend

Sixteen baseball teams will be competing this weekend in the City of Seneca as part of the 10U Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament. Seneca Recreation Director Rick Lacey gives details. “Well, we’ve got the 10U District Baseball Tournament and it is 16-teams. We will have two, 8-team brackets and then the winner of each bracket will play each other to see who will represent District 1 in the Western Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament.” Everyone is invited to come watch the baseball games, adds Lacey. “All the games will be at the Shaver Recreation Complex. We’ll be playing on Field 5 and 6. The first game will be at 10am on Saturday and each bracket will be played on the same field.” The Shaver Recreation Complex is located at 698 West South 4th Street in Seneca.
