Seneca Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

An early morning shooting investigation in the Bountyland Community over the weekend has led to the arrest of 25-year-old Elisha Reid Busby of Seneca on an Attempted Murder charge. According to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, Busby allegedly fired multiple handgun rounds from a vehicle at an adult male standing outside his Keowee School Road residence, striking two nearby apartments but causing no injuries. Following a search warrant executed at a Leland Street address, Busby was taken into custody on Sunday, May 31st, and remains jailed on a $375,000 surety bond, additionally facing weapon possession and dwelling discharge charges as the investigation continues.
