Seneca Man Arrested on Meth Trafficking and Multiple Charges
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Robert Mitchell Epperson of Oak Haven Court, Seneca, on multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, after an incident last Friday. Authorities pursued Epperson on a motorcycle after observing traffic violations, including passing a stopped school bus. The chase ended at a Brownwood Drive residence, where deputies located Epperson hiding in a closet. A search of his jacket uncovered 14.61 grams of methamphetamine. Epperson, held at the Oconee County Detention Center, faces traffic, drug, and resisting arrest charges with bonds totaling $14,942.50, excluding the trafficking charge, pending further investigation.
