Seneca Man Charged with Grand Larceny

27 year-od Austin Matthew Fowler of Seneca was arrested Wednesday night and charged with Grand Larceny by Seneca Police. Detectives said that while the owner of a car was inside the Xpress Mart on the corner of EN 1st and Cherry Streets, the vehicle was stolen. According to reports, the victim had gone inside the store, but left the 2003 Chevy Tahoe unlocked and the motor running. Seneca Police credited the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office for a late night traffic stop on I-85 which led to Fowler’s arrest. He remain in jail pending bond.
