Seneca Man indicted for possessing Child Pornography

A Seneca man has been indicted for possessing child pornography.  United States Attorney Bill Nettles announces that a Federal Grand Jury in Greenville returned an indictment against 41-year-old Hollis Gray, Jr. of Seneca.  He was charged in a single-count indictment with possessing child pornography.  The maximum penalty Gray could receive is 10 years imprisonment.  The case is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney William Watkins, Jr., of the Greenville office for prosecution.  This case is being brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorney’s Offices, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as identify and rescue victims.
