Seneca Man Jailed on $150K Bond for Sexual Assault of Minor

Timothy Reshawn Leland, 42, of Seneca, remains in the Oconee County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond and a DCT hold after his arrest on October 28 for third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office began investigating on September 28 following a hospital report, and during the investigation said the found evidence that Leland communicated with the victim via a social networking app before he picked up the victim on September 6 and driven to Poor Farm Lake Access in Walhalla, where the alleged assault occurred. The investigation is ongoing.
