Seneca Man killed in Westminster Traffic Accident

An early Saturday morning single-vehicle collision near Westminster claimed the life of a Seneca man. This collision occurred on Doyle Street and is believed to have occurred at approximately 6am; however, the collision was discovered at 6:35am. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reports that 22-year-old Austin Tyler Rogers of Green Acres Road in Seneca, was ejected from the pickup truck he was driving after it overturned. It does not appear he was wearing a seat belt. Rogers died at the scene from blunt force trauma. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
