SENECA MAN KILLED WHILE CROSSING GREENVILLE HIGHWAY

The office of the Grenville County Coroner has confirmed the death on Saturday of a 37-year old man from Seneca. Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis said Cleveland Donell Williams of Seneca’s Lacey Lane was killed during the midnight hour Saturday while attempting to walk across White Horse Road near Staunton Bridge Road. Williams was 37 years old. According to highway trooper Justin Sutherland, the fatal accident involved pedestrian Williams and a pickup truck driven by Terry Watkins, 54-year old Anderson resident. The patrol issued no charges as the result of the accident.
