Seneca Police bust Meth Operation

Over the past several weeks investigators with the Seneca Police Department Narcotics Unit have been conducting controlled undercover purchases of illegal narcotics from 307 Circle Drive inside the city. During the operation, officers were able to purchase quantities of methamphetamine from Douglas John Olin Edmond, who is a resident of 307 Circle Drive. Pursuant to the undercover buys, officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence. The search warrant was executed on March 8. Officers were able to locate and seize several bags that contained a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Edmond was arrested and charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Two other individuals; Anthony Scott Collins and David Edward Brock, were also located inside the residence at the time of warrant execution. Both of these individuals were also arrested and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center charged with possession of methamphetamine.
