Seneca Police Department Arrests Two In Relation To Thursday Morning Home Invasion Investigation

(Seneca, SC)———–The Seneca Police Department has arrested two individuals in its investigation into a home invasion that occurred yesterday morning.

According to a press release from Seneca PD, officers were dispatched to an address on Woodland Drive around 6am in regards to multiple individuals entering a house, presenting firearms, holding the occupants at gunpoint, discharging the firearms in an attempt to open a safe, stealing cell phones and then fleeing the area.

Investigators were called to the scene and made a determination on the identity of one of the suspects.  Investigators then went to a residence on South Townville Street and made contact with two suspects in a house along with other family members.  Investigators recovered evidence from the residence.

Seneca PD has charged two individuals in relation to the crime, one of which is a 16 year old juvenile, who was taken to a juvenile detention facility in Columbia, according to the Police Department.

The second suspect, 18 year old Elisha Reid Busby, was arrested and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center.

Investigators obtained arrest warrants against Busby charging him with one count of First Degree Burglary, one count of Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime, three counts of Armed Robbery, three counts of Kidnapping, and one count of Safecracking.
