Seneca Police Department Files Charges AGainst Seneca Man in Relation To Recent Burglaries, Larcenies and Vehicle Break-ins

(Seneca, SC)—–The Seneca Police Department has arrested a Seneca man on multiple charges related to a series of related thefts, burglaries and vehicle break-ins that have occurred in the southern part of the city.

27 year old Keith Antwane Jackson, who has listed addresses of Pruitt Road and Hunter Street, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center last Thursday afternoon around 5:33pm.

Seneca Police have charged Jackson with two counts of First Degree Burglary, two counts of Petit Larceny, three counts of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle, and one count of Resisting Arrest.

According to a press release issued by Seneca Police, the dates of the crimes range from August 31st thru September 24th and involve unlocked vehicles and open garages and carports.

The arrest warrants list addresses on Ploma Drive and S. Pine Street as locations where the crimes occurred.

The release said that Jackson was arrested on Hunter Street as he was hiding under a mobile home after resisting officers efforts to arrest him.

Seneca Police reports that some of the stolen items have been recovered and efforts continue to locate and recover more items.

Seneca PD is continuing their investigation and more charges are possible as the investigation continues.
