Seneca Police Department Investigating Early Sunday Morning Shooting

(Seneca, SC)———–Investigators from the Seneca Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning around 2am at Bistro 27, which is located on N. Cherry Street. 

According to Seneca Police Chief John Covington, the shooting stemmed from an altercation involving several people. Chief Covington says that investigators have a person of interest identified and are currently working to locate that individual. 

The victim in the incident suffered a gunshot would to the back and will undergo surgery. Chief Covington says the victim is stable and expected to make a full recovery. Chief Covington says the investigation is still active.
