Seneca Residents Given Free Trees

Seneca residents are getting a little help replacing some of the trees that were taken out by the April 13th tornado. Dede Godsey and April Bapties are botanical nursery employees from Traverlers Rest and they brought a vehicle load of Japanese red maples to Seneca. The ladies went door to door distributing the trees along with a note that read in part: “As you build a new chapter in your life, let this tree grow in your yard and in your heart.” A post on Facebook was used to generate funds for the effort.
