Seneca schedules Work Session and Special Meeting

The Seneca City Council will have a Work Session on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 6pm. Among the items on the agenda are a proposal for application for HAT funds, Christmas celebration at Norton-Thompson Park, tap fee analysis, business license amendment ordinance, wellness program, health fair flu shot agreement, Fiscal Year 2018-19 Transit Operating Agreement, second reading of an ordinance concerning the Commercial Building Improvement Program, first reading of an ordinance concerning annexing property at South Cove Road, first reading of an ordinance assigning zoning PDU to property at South Cove Road, first reading of an ordinance annexing property at Radnorshire Road and first reading of an ordinance assigning zoning RM-8 to property at Radnorshire Road. Immediately following the Work Session will be a Special Called Council Meeting. Among the items on that agenda are a police mutual aid agreement with the Walhalla Police Department and the appointment of Scott McLane to the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority. The meetings are open to the public.
