Seneca seeking $13 Million Loan

At their meeting Tuesday night, the Seneca City Council tasked City Administrator Greg Dietterick with applying for a $13 million state loan for infrastructural improvements.  The city wants to use funds from the State Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund to make upgrades at its water treatment plant facility.  With bank loan interest rates at low levels for municipalities, Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander feels this is a good time to borrow money to improve the city’s infrastructure.
