Seneca shining Brighter with New Downtown Bulbs

It’s getting brighter in the City of Seneca. Thursday morning, crews with Seneca Light and Water began installing new LED bulbs and fixtures along downtown streets, tells Utilities Director Bob Faires. “It’s going to be a process that we’ll do throughout the city. We are putting in new LED fixtures, which is a whiter light, its a cleaner light and uses a lot less electricity. So, it is going to be a nice change for downtown. We’ll also be painting the poles downtown on Ram Cat Alley. So, it is going to be a lot cleaner look all the way around.” New paint is also going on downtown fire hydrants courtesy of the Seneca Fire Department.
