Seneca to Consider Lowering Rental Rate Fees for City Facilities

Seneca’s mayor Pro-Tem Ronnie O’Kelly said that he wants to leave the ball in Administrator Scott Moulder’s court when it comes to setting a fair and equitable policy on the rental of city facilities.

After the city waived the rental fee and allowed the local GOP to meet on Sunday at the Gignilliat Community Center, it was decided by the Mayor and Council that the $1,400 fee should not be waived a second time for their county convention on April 10, and precedence must be considered. For instance, if fees are waived for one group, then fees should be waived for all.
