Seneca Woman Charged with Burglary and Larceny

Update from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office:

(Walhalla, SC)————————————–The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca woman Thursday evening on outstanding arrest warrants on charges of First Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny.

49 year old Christine Kimbrell Bearden of Lake Linda Road was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 10:39pm Thursday.  Bearden was arrested during a warrants service at the Lake Linda Road address.  At this time, Bearden remains in jail on a combined $20,000 surety bond.

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Padgett Street on the Utica Mill Hill on April 26th, 2020 in response to a disturbance in regards to items that were reportedly burglarized from a residence, which included electronics and clothing items.

Some of the items that were taken were recovered from other addresses on the Utica Mill Hill and returned to the owner.  

Based upon evidence gathered during the investigation, the deputy obtained arrest warrants against Bearden, as well as against 25 year old Robert Wesley Quarles II.

Quarles II was taken into custody the evening of May 29th, 2020 and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.  The case against Quarles II was adjudicated in General Sessions Court in August of 2020.

A Seneca woman is in jail charged with first degree burglary and grand larceny. On Thursday, Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 49 year-old Christine Kimbrell Bearden of a Lake Linda Road address on those offenses. She remains in custody pending bond.
