Seneca Women Advance to Third Round of AAA Upper State Playoffs; Seneca Men Face Clinton Tonight in Second Round Match-Up

The Seneca women’s basketball team has advanced to the third round of the AAA Upper State playoffs thanks to a 81-46 win last night over Chapman at Bobcat Gym. Anne-Hamilton Leroy led four Lady Cats in double figures with 25 points, while Kaliah Kendrick added 23 points. Tadija Brown and Caroline Crowe added 10 each for the Lady Bobcats. 

Seneca will face Keenan next Monday night at 6:30pm at Bobcat Gym. The winner of that game will face the winner of the Southside – Emerald game at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville on Saturday, February 23rd in the Upper State Championship Game. 

Meanwhile, the Seneca men’s basketball will be in action tonight at Bobcat Gym for their second round matchup in the AAA Upper State playoffs against Clinton. Tip-off time is set for 7pm. Our airtime here on The Lake tonight will be 6:45pm. The winner of tonight’s game will face the winner of the Woodruff – Chester game next Tuesday night for a chance to play in the Upper State championship at The Well on Saturday, February 23rd. 

Also in action this weekend in the AAAA Upper State playoffs is the Walhalla men’s team who will travel to Ridge View tomorrow night for a game to tip-off at 7pm. The winner of that game will play the winner of the A.C. Flora – Travelers Rest game next Tuesday night.
