Senior Farmers Market Vouchers Available This Week in Seneca
Senior Farmers Market vouchers will be handed out this week in Seneca. The United Way, partnering with DSS, will give away vouchers from 9 am to 1 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Blue Ridge Community Center, 310 W. S. 5th Street to seniors age 60 and over of low and middle income on a first come, first served. Eligible participants will receive 5 SFMNP checks worth $5.00 each; for a total benefit of $25.00 that can be used at participating farmers’ market to purchase fresh, locally grown produce.
