Senior Night Tonight at Bobcat Stadium

The final home game of the football regular season is always Senior Night at Bobcat Stadium and tonight, Oct. 19, 2018, Seneca High School honors 22 football players and an athletic student trainer. Seneca High School Varsity Football Head Coach Hal Capps says the Class of 2019 is a great group of student-athletes. “We have 22 seniors, 23 counting our athletic student trainer, Emma Shirley, who does a great job. This group of seniors has won the Region Title three consecutive years and this group really wants to four-peat. So, we have to make sure we take care of business, so we will have that opportunity next week.” Coach Capps breaks down tonight’s opponent, the Crescent Tigers. “They have a new coach over there and he is doing a great job. They are not huge, they’re just rough, tough kids. They have great speed all over the field. They will try to spread you out and run the football. Defensively, they will show you different looks and play a lot of man coverage and blitz a lot. So, we have to really protect our quarterback.” Once again, the Bobcat faithful fans will be a big factor tonight, concludes Coach Capps. “Oh, it’s going to be huge.” Kickoff of the Seneca Bobcats versus the Crescent Tigers is tonight at 7:30pm.
