Seven Companies apply for Kellett Project

Seven companies have applied to renovate the former Kellett Elementary School in Seneca.  The City project calls for the conversion of the former school into a new home for the utilities office as well as warehouse space.  According to Seneca Utilities Director Bob Faires, the seven have submitted requests for qualifications. The task is to renovate most of the former school on Seneca’s south side to the new Light and Water headquarters. Faires says Light and Water billing offices will remain at Seneca City Hall. Once Light and Water makes the move, the Seneca Planning and Community Development Offices will occupy the space vacated by the Light and Water Department on the ground floor of Seneca City Hall.
