Several Students playing Spring Sports at SHS

There are a lot of students playing spring sports this year at Seneca High School, says Guidance Director Cari Carter. “For spring sports, we have 347 students participating in various sports, which is 36% of our student body and that is quit impressive. We are really proud of our students, they work hard in and out of the classroom. We find that our students who are engaged in athletics and other extra-curricular events through the school really shine. Not only do they shine on the field or shine in their extra-curricular activities but it also promotes them academically; it just adds that extra accountability for them. So, we are very proud of our students, we encourage them to be involved in as much as possible.” The sports offered this spring at Seneca High School are baseball, softball, track, soccer, tennis and golf.
