Severe Thunderstorms Areound the Upstate

The Upstate was effected by severe weather on Monday. The National Weather Service of Greenville-Spartanburg SC (NWS GSP) said in a preliminary local storm report that there was a possible tornado in the Upstate and added that the storm caused damage to buildings, downed trees blocking the road, and downed powerlines. Widespread strong to severe thunderstorm development is probable later today. The primary risks will be scattered damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes. Additionally, thunderstorms will bring heavy rainfall leading to a potential for flash, urban, and small stream flooding today and tonight.
