SFD Responded to Fire Wednesday Afternoon

Just before noon on Wednesday, Seneca City Fire B-Shift responded to a house fire in the Utica section. Chief 701, Battalion 7, Truck 2, and Engine 74, along with auto aid companies, were dispatched. Upon arrival, Chief 701 confirmed a working fire in a small building. All mutual aid companies were canceled except Tanker 12, in case extra water was needed. Truck 2 and Engine 74 quickly knocked down the fire with no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
