Shooting Victim Airlifted After Dispute in Pendleton

One person was airlifted to the hospital following a shooting incident in Anderson County late Sunday night. According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call at an address on Bickford Drive near Pendleton shortly after 11 p.m. on December 13, 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from a conflict between two men at the residence. The victim was transported via Life Flight helicopter to a medical facility; their condition has not been released. Authorities have described the incident as isolated, with no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
