SHS Homecoming Parade this Afternoon

Homecoming activities conclude tonight on Coach Tom Bass Field at Bobcat Stadium as the Seneca Bobcats host the Walhalla Razorbacks. Before the big game and the crowning of a queen at halftime is the Homecoming Parade, tells Seneca High School (SHS) Guidance Director and Assistant Athletic Director Karen Trammell. “This week is Spirit Week and I know its a Black Out for the game Friday night so that should be exciting but everyday there is a different dress up day for the kids. They enjoy doing that and they can earn different points for their class to see who can win the Homecoming competition. Then we’ll have the parade Friday afternoon that actually starts near the softball field and comes out and cuts across Wells Highway in front of the school and goes back around down to the football stadium. The kids are building floats this week.” The Homecoming Parade begins at 6:15pm and motorists traveling along Wells Highway in front of SHS should watch for a lane closure for the parade.
