SLED Establishes DNA Profile From Specimens Collected Of Human Remains Found Near Seneca

(Seneca, SC)———Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis issued a release late last week indicating that SLED has established a DNA profile from specimens collected of human remains discovered in Seneca on June 24th.

Coroner Addis said that based upon those specimens and from specimens collected from two missing Oconee County women, the remains discovered were not those of Ms. Faith Roach or Ms. Laura Anders.

Anthropology studies are continuing on the remains and the Coroner’s Office is working with SLED in regards to possibly creating a 3D sculpture to help with possible identification.
