South Carolina Attorney General’s Office Announces Indictment Of Nine Men In Drug Trafficking Conspiracy Investigation

(Seneca, SC)——The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office issued a release late last week announcing the indictment of nine men for their alleged participation in an Upstate drug trafficking conspiracy primarily involving cocaine but also other illegal narcotics.

The announcement of the multi-jurisdictional investigation was made last Thursday at the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.  The investigation began back in January of 2017.

Eight of the men indicted have been arrested while one subject is still being sought.

According to the press release, the investigation revealed that the organization allegedly trafficked large quantities of cocaine and other illegal narcotics into the Upstate during the course of the operation.

Bond hearings were held back on July 24th in Richland County.  Two subjects, Eugene Malik Boyd and Quantavious Hivar Keels were denied bond while the other defendants received various surety and personal recognizance bonds.
