South Carolina Department of Public Safety Announces preliminary total of five persons killed on south Carolina highways this past weekend

(Seneca, SC)————The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced a preliminary total of five persons were killed on South Carolina roadways during this past weekend during the time period between 6pm, Friday, September 20th until just before midnight, Sunday, September 22nd.

As of this past Sunday, 690 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 751 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018.

As of September 22nd, 27 people have died on roadways in Anderson County, 10 people have died on roadways in Oconee County and nine people have died on roadways in Pickens County.
