South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Announces Preliminary Total Of Seven Persons Killed On South Carolina Highway This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)——The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary total of seven people were killed on South Carolina roadways from the time period of 6pm, Friday, May 31st until just before midnight, Sunday, June 2nd. 

As of June 2nd, 388 people have died on South Carolina roadways, compared to 425 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018. 

So far this year, according to statistics from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, 12 people have died on roadways in Anderson County, five persons have died on roadways in Oconee County and seven persons have died on roadways in Pickens County.
