South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Announces Preliminary Total Of Seven South Carolina Roadway Deaths This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)————-The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced that a preliminary total of seven persons were killed on South Carolina roadways during the time period between 6pm, Friday May 17th until just before midnight, Friday, May 19th. 

As of May 19th, 344 persons have been killed on South Carolina roadways, compared to 383 deaths during the same time period in 2018. 

So far this year, according to stats provided by the Department of Public Safety, ten persons have died on roadways in Anderson County while five people have died on roadways in both Oconee County and Pickens County.
