South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Reports Preliminary Number of 10 People Killed On South Carolina Roadways This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)———————–The South Carolina Department of Public Safety reports that a preliminary number of 10 person were killed on South Carolina roadways this past weekend, from the time period of 6pm last Friday, May 3rd until just before midnight, Sunday, May 5th. 

As of May 5th, 304 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 334 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018. 

In Anderson County, 10 persons have died on South Carolina highway so far this year, while in Oconee County, four persons have died on South Carolina roadways. In Pickens County, the number of persons who have died on South Carolina roadways stands at five so far this year.
