South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Reports Preliminary Total Of One Person Died On SC Roadways This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)——-The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced that a preliminary total of one person died on South Carolina roadways this past weekend during the time period between 6pm, Friday, August 23rd and just before midnight on Sunday, August 25th. 

As of August 25th, 616 persons have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 670 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018. 

As of this past Sunday, 23 persons have died on roadways in Anderson County, 10 persons have died on roadways in Oconee County and eight persons have died on roadways in Pickens County so far this year.
