South Carolina Department Of Transportation Announces Preliminary Total of Seven Persons Killed On SC Roadways This Past weekend

(Seneca, SC)—-The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced that a preliminary total of seven persons were killed on South Carolina roadways during this past weekend between the time period of 6pm, Friday, September 6th and just before midnight, Sunday, September 8th.

As of September 8th, 651 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 709 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018.

As of Sunday, 26 people have died on roadways in Anderson County, 10 people have died on roadways in Oconee County and eight people have died on roadways in Pickens County so far this year.
