South Carolina Department of Transportation Providing Public Notification For Clear Zone Improvements On Interstates

(Seneca, SC)————————–The South Carolina Department of Transportation is providing public notification to include clear zone improvements within the median and along both shoulders to improve safety with seven interstate corridors, including a stretch of I-85 from mile marker 30 in Anderson County, which is about two miles from Highway 8 to mile marker 60 in Spartanburg County, which is near Highway 101. 

According to a release from the SCDOT, improvements are listed according to priority and have been estimated for $700,000 with Preliminary Engineering in FY 2019 and $32.5 million dollars of Construction in FY 2019 and FY 2020.
