South Carolina Department Of Transportation To Begin Next Phase Of Construction On Norfolk Southern Rail Bridge In Clemson

(Seneca, SC)———————–The SCDOT is continuing work in the next phase of the construction of the Norfolk Southern Rail Bridge in Clemson.
According to a press release from the city of Clemson, SCDOT will be in the process of removing the forms used for this weeks concrete pours at times throughout the day and will begin painting the bridge at night, which is the last phase of construction and should take about 21 days.
There is one more concrete pour that is scheduled for next Monday, April 15th. The release advises motorists and citizens that significant delays are expected to occur at the intersection of Highway 123 and Highway 133 in Clemson.
The schedule is set up by Norfolk Southern to avoid conflicts with train traffic, according to the release.
