South Carolina Department Of Transportation To Hold Litter Clean-Up Today

(Seneca, SC)————————–The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold its 2019 agency-wide highway litter clean-up today. The “Spring Spruce Up” includes hundreds of employees, from engineers and attorneys to administrative staff and leadership, volunteering to pick up litter across South Carolina roadways. 

In the western part of the Upstate, look out in these areas for the SCDOT employees picking up litter: In Anderson County, on Highway 28 between the McCormick and Anderson County lines, Highway 178 between Anderson County and Greenwood County, Tornado Road near Honea Path, Highway 29 from the city of Anderson towards I-85, Highway 88 from Pendleton to Highway 8 and Highway 76 from I-85 to the Pickens County line. 

In Pickens County, look out for SCDOT employees along portions of Highway 123, Highway 76 and Highway 153.

In Oconee County, look out for those picking up litter along protions of Highway 28, Highway 188, Highway 11, Highway 59 and Highway 76.
