Attended by key figures including SC Farm Bureau President Harry Ott, SC Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers, and local officials like The Honorable Mike Gambrell and The Honorable Jay West, the groundbreaking ceremony is set for Friday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. Located at 1306 Whitehall Rd., Anderson, the expansion addresses the growing demands of area farmers, supported by funding from the Growing Agribusiness fund administered by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture.
This event not only symbolizes progress but also honors Anderson County’s agricultural heritage, dating back over 175 years, showcasing its evolution into a regional agricultural hub.
