South Carolina Highway Patrol Charges Seneca Man In November 2018 Fatal Hit And Run Accident
(Seneca, SC)———————–The South Carolina Highway Patrol has made an arrest in its investigation into a fatal hit and run accident. Troopers obtained charges against 35 year old Arturo Alejandro Beatriz of Seneca for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Death and for not having a South Carolina driver’s license. The fatal hit and run occurred on Houston Rice Road near Highway 59 and Seneca Health and Rehabilitation on November 14th of last year.
Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis issued a press release back on November 23rd of last year announcing the death of 94 year old Dale Howard Showers of Seneca. Coroner Addis said that Mr. Showers was visiting his wife at the Seneca Health and Rehabilitation facility. Mr. Showers was later discovered lying unresponsive along the edge of Houston Rice Road and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Coroner Addis said the autopsy revealed that Mr. Showers died from injuries consistent with a pedestrian motor vehicle incident.
