South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Charges Seneca Woman With Embezzlement of Public Funds

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division arrested a Seneca woman last week in connection with embezzlement. 38 year old Bobbi Joe Miller was charged with Embezzlement of Public Funds, according to a SLED press release. Miller was employed with the Oconee County Solid Waste Department and was the office manager. The embezzlement took place last year between October 19th and November 29th, according to the arrest warrant obtained by SLED and was less than $10,000 in the amount taken. The warrant states that Miller made a full confession to embezzling the money and spent the money on personal use. The investigation was requested by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
