South Carolina Logs First Flu Death of Season; Bell Says Front Line Workers Will Get COVID-19 Vaccine First

The first flu-associated South Carolina death of the season was announced this week by DHEC. And the state health agency says the death is a reminder that everyone, six months and older, should be vaccinated. Contracting the flu and COVID-19 at the same time is possible and could likely cause more complications than if the flu were the only infection.
