South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Assists Those With Disabilities While Partnering With Business And Industry

(Seneca, SC)—————————–The Wells Highway location of the Oconee office of South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation will begin an expansion soon as it continues to assist those with some form of disability to get back to work while also helping the local economy as it partners with business and industry. 

Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander, who is an employee of the Oconee office of South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation, discussed the impact that Vocational Rehab has in a recent appearance on the Coffee Time program. 

Mayor Alexander says that Vocational Rehabilitation partners with a lot of great companies, especially at their training center, which allows Vocational Rehab to do projects for those companies and businesses. 

Mayor Alexander says that Vocational Rehab assists those with some form of disability with providing a structured environment that teaches skills, such as punctuality, teamwork and getting along with others, productivity, quality and other skills that employers are looking for. The Mayor says that those business and industries that partner with Vocational Rehab are giving someone hope.
